We’re passionate about bringing together a movement of professionals, tradies, office workers and everyday people to use their skills along with some serious sweat and muscle to drive powerful change.

RAW Impact has established itself as a leading organisation facilitating engaging project-service trip experiences. Volunteers participate in a 5-8 day journey of cultural immersion and community focused volunteer work where they make a real impact – including providing skills training and workshops to local beneficiaries.

We’re passionate about seeing young people realise their potential and get amongst it in Cambodia. Bringing your class on the adventure of their life is something they won’t forget!

Before The Trip

Before The Trip

How many staff can we bring?

A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 staff. If you can’t quite make up the numbers you can always jump on an existing trip.

What is the costing model?

Our costs include a Registration Payment (right now is $250+GST, to sign up which covers RAW’s costs to run the program including all Australian based support), Trip Costs (actual on-ground cost of the trip, quoted in USD, typically around the $950 USD mark but depends on trip length and itinerary), as well as $1,000 minimum towards funding RAW’s projects (including the ones the team will work on – this is tax deductible and we provide an online fundraising page via Everyday Hero).

How does RAW support our company in preparation?

Our team in Australia provide guest speakers to assist with sharing the trip opportunity,  information and preparation sessions etc. We also run a series of email communications to trip participants to assist with admin and logistics as well as supporting phone calls when necessary.

How long are the trips?

Typically 5-8 days including arrival and departure days but we’re flexible.

Are there safety precautions in place?

Yes absolutely! We take risk and safety extremely seriously. We minimise risks by using safe and proven hotel accommodation, eat at trusted restaurants (or use our own in-house cooks), use one preferred transport company for our vans and tuk tuks, provide project safety briefings/training and require all volunteers to wear safety equipment (shoes, eye protection, hats etc) at all times whilst on the tools.

What's a typical itinerary?

The first full day is a cultural orientation and RAW office tour, then we hit the tools on our project (4 days), followed by a village sleep out, finishing in Kep to relax by the ocean or Siem Reap to explore the Angkor Wat temples (2 days).

What does RAW provide after our trip?

We provide you with 100+ professional photos as well as a three minute team clip to share with your online community and hopefully inspire others to get involved. Our team in Australia is also happy to run debriefing sessions to assist with culture shock and processing the trip experience.

What if we want to go again?

We would welcome that with open arms! Our team in Australia will work with your business to draft all trip documents including trip guides etc and assist you in activating the trip for the next crew.

Are there further opportunities for our staff after a trip?

Following participation in a RAW trip, staff have the opportunity to volunteer in our Australian based offices or remotely as well as apply to do an extended volunteering role in Cambodia.

It was terrific being on the ground with the RAW team, getting our hands dirty, feet muddy and arms and legs engaged in building a better life for families who don’t have the opportunities we take for granted.
