The Chan Family
Our Story
Water and electricity are the only wishes on Chan Chet and Phat Chanry’s bucket list. Their debt of almost $2,000 USD is rapidly climbing as they are being forced to borrow again to pay off past debts – what a vicious cycle! They have two toddlers, and would love to someday open a store selling construction materials to others in their community so that they are able to send them to school. The family value education highly and dream of their children attending SALT School. They look forward to the region’s economic development, and hope it will mean better employment opportunities for their family.
