The Chea Family
Our Story
The Chea’s are a large family with six children; three are too young to attend school, two attend the government school and one they sadly cannot afford to send to school. Dad works as a fisherman and construction worker while Mum stays at home to look after her children.
The family are in $250 USD of debt to two lenders due to purchasing essential fishing equipment, and while they would love to send their children to SALT School, they simply cannot afford it. In the future they would like to raise goats and continue fishing to support the family.
