How does the project work?
Our amazing Protect team have worked closely with these families for almost two years now. Following several interviews with each family, we have assessed their urgent needs which you’ll see under each family profile. Funds raised will support these three project areas and allow each family to access the benefits of these solutions.
Have you spoken with the local community?
Our team work closely with each family as well as with local village leaders. All the official channels have been followed as well as informal meetings with the local community. They are excited about the project and we can’t wait to see Ta Skor thrive with new industry and opportunity.
Fundraising
How long do I have to fundraise?
Our goal is to have all funds raised by June 30, 2018!
What can I do to fundraise?
There are a HEAP of options for fundraising! You can hold a bake sale, host a movie night, run a marathon, collect gold coins…the list goes on. We’ve had people shave their head, create amazing artworks to sell, write songs, offer family photo shoots and so much more. Email [email protected] if you need ideas.

Can I fundraise with a group of friends?
Of course! Fundraising with friends is a great idea. You can set up a team using our online fundraising platform Everyday Hero and each of you can have your own fundraising page. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Donations
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Absolutely! If you give through Everyday Hero, those donations are automatically tax-deductible. To avoid online transaction fees, you can also direct deposit into our bank account and we can provide you with a tax receipt from our Australian charity partner, Global Development Group.
