The Hang Family
Our Story
Hang Hen, a widower with adult children, previously lived in a tiny house in the slum east of SALT School. He has no debt, but he suffers from an old gunshot wound to the head. He has problems hearing and gets dizzy often – which severely impacts day to day life.
He recently moved into his new house in RAW Impact’s I Block with his two daughters, which is a huge step towards a sustainable future! Hang Hen works as a fisherman, earning about $0.75 USD/day, or $3.75 USD/day as a laborer on local farms. He hopes to find stability in his job so he can better support his family in the future.
