The Khy Family
Our Story
Chea Sol and Khy Tuy are concerned they will soon be without a place to live, something no-one should have to worry about. They are Christians, and go to the local church every Sunday. They are in over $1,000 USD of debt, and make $4 USD a day most days fishing – but fishing is extremely sporadic work from season to season and isn’t stable. The couple live alone, as their only daughter is grown and has her own family. They often worry about paying their debt as they struggle to make repayments, however they have hope for the future! They would like to plant and grow lettuce near the lake to create a more stable source of income to rely on as they grow older.
