The Kong Jey Family
Our Story
Before coming to live in Ta Skor Village, Kong Jey and his wife were farmers further out in the province. They had to move because they were forced off the land, a sad reality for poorer families! Now, their dream is to be able to raise their goats and chickens as well as having their own vegetable gardens. Currently, none of their 5 children are attending school but they wish for all of their children to one day attend SALT School – for it is through education that they can help their children out of the poverty cycle!
