The Kong So Family
Our Story
Kong So Kohm is the daughter of one of our other Every Piece Matters families – the Sin Kong family. She is married but lives with her parents because her husband works far away. She helps her mother find and cut firewood to feed her brothers and sisters, but she desperately needs a home of her own to create a sustainable future for her new family. She has a debt of $500 USD to two lenders after taking out a loan to cover medical care for her sick child. She hopes to send her children to SALT School when they are old enough but worries about whether she can afford it.
