The Ol Family
Our Story
Ol Year and Sim Roth, both in their 40’s, were one of the only families we visited who spoke about wanting to go back to school. He would like to improve his entrepreneurship skills and save enough to open up a shop to support their family – an admirable dream to work towards. He currently picks and sells fruit, and the two have almost $3,000 USD of debt from feeding and sending their four children to school. “We will borrow whatever we have to, to keep them there,” Sim Roth says. “Their education is the most important thing!”.
