The Ouk Family
Our Story
Ouk Somoul and his wife, Boo Seng would like to open a mechanic shop, but cannot afford to start his own shop. He’s currently volunteering at the pagoda (more specifically, the Buddhist vihara, or monastery) and his wife sells drinks and snacks as a source of income.
They have seven adult children and are raising their youngest son, five of them attend school. The couple have also recently taken six grandchildren into their care. They would like to save money to help their son who has had surgery for a tumor and try to find their other son, who went to Thailand ten years ago and was never seen or heard from again, but right now, with $700 USD of debt they cannot afford it.
