The Sem Family – Fully Pledged
Our Story
Living and working as a cook at the SALT School, Sem Narin hopes to one day own her own hair salon. Her husband is a teacher, and together they owe almost $500 USD in debt. They are slowly starting to pay it back through their stable jobs, however the Sem Family have a long way to go. They are excited about the region’s development, since it will be easier to reach Phnom Penh in emergencies and for their two small children to hopefully go to SALT School and then to Grammar School when they are older. They dream of their children becoming doctors, and value education highly! They would love to be able to save enough money to move out into their own home.
