The Sor Family
Our Story
Sor Yorn and his wife Norm Yorng are an elderly couple living with their grandchild in a run-down house. They have five adult children who have all married and moved out of home. Sor Yorn is sadly too old to continue working, meaning Norm Yorng provides the sole income for the family through her sporadic labour work. Their grandchild currently attends the government school, however they dream of sending him to SALT School if only they could afford it. The couple have a huge $2,000 USD debt which is proving extremely difficult to pay off with only one income. Every Piece Matters will truly be life changing for this small family! In the future, Sor Yorn and Norm Yorng would love to raise goats and have a vegetable garden without their debt hanging over their heads.
