The Sturen Family
Our Story
SurSrey Kourt, her husband Sturen Nat, and their daughter, Sturen Koatsala, live in one of the houses RAW previously built in Ta Skor with her mother, father and their extended family. She has been very sick and has a parasite that makes it almost impossible for her to breastfeed their tiny baby without extreme pain- sadly putting the family in a very difficult position. She is forced to stay home, unable to work to support her infant son. After originally taking out a loan of $25 USD, their debt has increased dramatically to nearly $350 USD. The couple are nervous they will have to borrow more to start a life together and battle SurSrey Kourt’s illness.
