Our Story
If Meal Chanty had the money, she’d love to open up a small ingredient shop to help support her family. Her husband, Theorn Banro, works as a driver in Phnom Penh. The couple have two small girls, and have fallen into a debt of $400 USD after one of their children became ill. “We worry about eating” Meal Chanty shares, fretting they do not earn enough to properly support their girls- which is an awful thing to have to worry about! When they are old enough, the Theorn family wish to send their girls to a good school.
