The Sam Noun Family
Our Story
Sam Noun and Chaum Savee borrowed $4,000 USD to try to launch an agricultural business that failed, and they are now left owing almost $3,000 USD to four different lenders! They lost their land, a sad reality for poorer families, and now live at the very edge of Ta Skor. Their adult son is married with a daughter of his own. The couple are currently working catching and selling fish, however the work is seasonal and unstable. They’d love to try their hand at farming again, if they could afford the land – something with which Every Piece Matters will become attainable!
