The Seng Family
Our Story
Seng Thong and his new wife, Sok Neang, have six children between them; three of which live with them. One works in the city, another lives with other family members and the third sadly lives in an orphanage, as he has a disability that his parents simply cannot manage. Only three of their children attend school! Mum and Dad’s relationship is not always good and their children’s livelihoods can sometimes suffer because of this. Dad is still grieving over the loss of his previous wife – which adds stress to the family. Seng Thong tries to find work as a handyman, but it isn’t steady, meaning he is still paying off his debt of $100 USD.
