The Sin Kong Family
Our Story
Tuon Savath and her husband Sin Kong are excited about the upcoming improvements being made to their community, but “we need water and electricity to really be okay,” Tuon Savath says. They have seven children, one whom has tragically passed away, three of whom are married, and three of whom still live with them. Since her husband is disabled and cannot work, Tuon Savath earns money for the family by finding, chopping, and selling firewood! In the future, Tuon Savath would love to send her children to school and own a small farm to raise ducks, goats and chickens.
