The Sna Family

Our Story

Chea Socka and her husband Tum Veasna live with their three children on the edge of Ta Skor. They are $1,500 USD in debt to both neighbours and a microfinance organization at a minimum 50% interest. Two children attend school, and the couple hopes they can find a way to send all three so that they can have a better future through education! They worry about where they will live as the owner of the land they currently occupy wants them to leave soon; and because of their crippling debt they have no money to buy new land or build a new house.
